The Chalet Helen is ideally located. In a quiet location yet less than a five minute easy walk to the village centre you will find plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. The ski hire shop is a stones throw away. It is possible to ski back to within 100 meters of the chalet. In summer the swimming pool is a mere 100 meters away. If you prefer to be car free there is a bus stop 50 meters from the door. All Chatel Navette buses are free. For self-catered guests a very good super-market is within 400 meters.

Nestled in the heart of the Portes du Soleil, less than a five minute walk from the center of the pretty village of Chatel, Chalet Helen has a friendly informal atmosphere. The chalet was brand new for the 2005 season, and skilfully combines traditional charm with modern flair. The Chalet can be taken on a catered or self-catered option. The lower level has plenty of space for boots and skis. Upstairs on the 1st floor is a good size lounge with a welcome log fire and patio doors give access to the balcony with panoramic views up and down the valley. Also on this floor is a good size dining area where you can enjoy your evenings reminiscing of the day's events. Also on this level you have a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The top floor has 1 double with en-suite shower room, 1 double and 1 twin both have a balcony though share a good size bathroom.

• The chalet is available on a catered or self-catered basis.
• For Self-catered the kitchen is well equipped with all you need.
• If self-catering there is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the basement.
• The chalet has plenty of off road parking.
• Logs are supplied for the fire.
• Catered guest will have breakfast, afternoon tea and cake on 7 days. On 6 evenings a 4 course evening meal with complementary wine is served.
